Lavender's Death

Lavender died today. He was shot in the head on his way back to us from taking a pee in the woods. And just like that his life was ended. As the helicopter came we smoked his mary-jane. We joked about how much he used his tranquilizer and that when he did get shot he couldn't of even felt any pain, thats how much he abused it. Some of the platoon thought they need luck not to die in this war. Lieutenant Cross had a good luck pebble, Dave Jensen had a rabbits foot and Norman Bowker carried a thumb that Sanders gave him from a boy that he cut it off of. After he cut it off the boy he kicked him in the head and began on his way. I had no idea how that was lucky but some people are just weird. That is all I have to tell you for now more will be coming later on.
